Die 8. Ausgabe von 12TON am 26. September 2024 war gewissermaßen eine „Special Edition“ und hat in Kooperation mit Imago Sonus im Rahmen des Vienna City Gallery Walk stattgefunden. Das Programm mit seinen Protgonist*innen und dem thematischen Überbau wie folgt: Stück für zwei Metronome, Stimme, Loop-Station und Vox. Komponistin: Lissie Rettenwander (2016), Interpretinnen: Kate Lasmane, Benedikt Steiner, Schayan Kazemi mit einer nachfolgende Interaktion von Künstlerinnen / Musiker*innen.
Die Aufführung fand in Bezug auf die Ausstellung „GOODBYE PAINTINGS“ mit Werken von Simone Haack, Elisabeth Plank und Olga Shcheblykina in der Galerie Richard Ruberl statt.

LISSIE RETTENWANDER
Born in Kitzbühel, raised on a farm in Gundhabing. There her musical career begins. Rettenwander uncompromisingly lets herself in for the balancing act between tradition and avant-garde. As a composer-performer she works with her voice, with zither, accordion, guitar, metronomes, tuning forks, toy songbirds, herding calls, electronics, rooms, and the mini-amplifier Vox. “In her acoustic world there is simultaneity and multitude in one. The palette of acoustic events ranges far and wide, the dramaturgy allows for acoustic images of the highest intensity and colourfulness. With her music, Lissie Rettenwander brings together the most diverse elements and for this very reason creates unity in exuberant imagination.
